Remote CTRL Privacy Policy

Effective: 22 October 2026 · Applies to Remote CTRL for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Remote CTRL does not collect, store, or share any personal data. We have no servers for this app and we never receive information about you or your use of it.

What stays on your device

• Macs you add (name, address, port, user name, picture quality): saved only on your device, in the app's own storage.
• Passwords you choose to save: stored only in your device's Keychain, marked "this device only". They are never synced or sent to us.
• Settings (language, pointer mode, app lock): saved only on your device.

Network connections

The app connects directly to the computers you choose, over your local network or your own Tailscale network. It looks for Macs with Screen Sharing on your local network (Bonjour) only to list them for you. The screen image, keyboard, mouse and clipboard data travel only between your device and your Mac.

Optional relay connection

If a future version offers connecting without Tailscale through the Remote CTRL relay, the connection between your device and your Mac is end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and the relay only forwards encrypted bytes it cannot read. The relay keeps no screen, keyboard or clipboard content. It uses your IP address and a pairing identifier only while connected, plus short-lived counters to block abuse, and does not keep them afterwards.

No analytics, ads or tracking

Remote CTRL contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

Face ID / Touch ID

If you turn on the app lock, the system checks your face or fingerprint. The app only receives a yes/no result; biometric data never reaches the app or us.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

لا يجمع Remote CTRL أي بيانات شخصية ولا يخزّنها ولا يشاركها. لا توجد لدينا خوادم لهذا التطبيق، ولا تصلنا أي معلومات عنك أو عن استخدامك له.

ما يبقى على جهازك

• أجهزة الماك التي تضيفها (الاسم والعنوان والمنفذ واسم المستخدم وجودة الصورة): تُحفظ على جهازك فقط داخل مساحة التطبيق.
• كلمات السر التي تختار حفظها: تُخزَّن في سلسلة مفاتيح جهازك فقط، ومعلَّمة «هذا الجهاز فقط»، ولا تُزامَن ولا تُرسَل إلينا أبدًا.
• الإعدادات (اللغة ووضع المؤشر وقفل التطبيق): تُحفظ على جهازك فقط.

اتصالات الشبكة

يتصل التطبيق مباشرةً بالأجهزة التي تختارها عبر شبكتك المحلية أو شبكة Tailscale الخاصة بك. ويبحث عن أجهزة الماك المفعّل فيها مشاركة الشاشة على شبكتك المحلية (Bonjour) فقط ليعرضها لك. صورة الشاشة ولوحة المفاتيح والفأرة والحافظة تنتقل بين جهازك وجهاز الماك فقط.

الاتصال الاختياري عبر خادم الوصل

إذا أتاح إصدار قادم الاتصال بدون Tailscale عبر خادم الوصل الخاص بـ Remote CTRL، فإن الاتصال بين جهازك وجهاز الماك مشفّر من الطرف إلى الطرف (AES-256-GCM)، ويقتصر دور الخادم على تمرير بيانات مشفّرة لا يستطيع قراءتها. لا يحتفظ الخادم بأي محتوى من الشاشة أو لوحة المفاتيح أو الحافظة، ويستخدم عنوان IP ومعرّف الاقتران أثناء الاتصال فقط، مع عدّادات مؤقتة لمنع إساءة الاستخدام، ولا يحتفظ بها بعد ذلك.

لا تحليلات ولا إعلانات ولا تتبّع

لا يحتوي Remote CTRL على أي أدوات تحليلات أو إعلانات أو تقارير أعطال أو تتبّع، ولا يتتبّعك عبر التطبيقات أو المواقع.

بصمة الوجه / بصمة الإصبع

عند تفعيل قفل التطبيق يتحقق النظام من وجهك أو بصمتك، ولا يتلقى التطبيق سوى نتيجة «نجح/لم ينجح»؛ لا تصل بياناتك الحيوية إلى التطبيق ولا إلينا.

الأطفال

لا يجمع التطبيق بيانات من أي أحد، بمن فيهم الأطفال.
